BRUSH IT UP GIVES BACK

One Soul Support for prematurely born children.

Makeup artist Simon Rihana is the founder and catalyst of One Soul; a charity bracelet set with Tibetan prayer beads and designed by Black Dakini Jewels in Copenhagen.

4600 children are born prematurely every year in Denmark, and every 6th woman gives birth prematurely every single day, corresponding to more than 12 prematurely born children a day.

The production of these One Soul bracelets is conducted by women in Nepal and therefore the One Soul cause has a dual function, of also supporting the women of Nepal.

The actors Nukâka and Nicolaj Coster-Waldau are the first and primary supporters of One Soul.
Nicolaj’s own sister gave premature birth to twins some 6 years ago who both miraculously survived this ordeal, and both Nicolaj and his sister have therefore experienced the ordeals and issues themselves first hand.

The renowned photographer Krzysztof Herholdt immortalized, on a sunny November day, this special moment between Nicolaj and his beautiful wife Nukâka in a studio in Copenhagen where they gave their full support for the One Soul project.

The bracelets cost DKK 65 - usd. 15 and are among other places sold at Black Dakini at Kronprinsensgade 13 in Copenhagen, and can also be purchased through www.prematurshoppen.dk.
